I agree with you, and I also find the fact that you saw graphics from the camps as a young one, which, as far as I knew, those in the USA, as in civilians, did not know what was happening in Europe at the time.

Where I live, in Australia, kids in years 7 and 8 start to learn all about the Holocaust and do a whole semester studying it and visit the Holocaust center and meet survivors.

It's so important to remember the crimes of the past so that we all learn to be inclusive and tolerant.
