I completely hear what you are saying and it’s a very big issue with a lot of grey areas. My heart truly goes out to the kids that are unsafe at home but I come from a place where I have had to sit by and repeatedly witness my neurodiverse daughter be treated terribly by other kids who should know better and many of these kids have had repeated warnings and been involved in discussions where they have options to make better choices.
This article is supposed to be a satirical take on a larger issue of bullies who from the victims perspective never seem to be held accountable. I am just an idealist who is also an optimist that dreams for a world where people can be themselves without risk of being made to feel less than.
