I don’t have the words to express how powerful this piece is. The saying that you’re only as happy as your unhappiest child resonates with me so much.
There is no greater parental pain than when your child is in pain.
I can understand the feelings of helplessness you must have about taking that pain away.
But you were there. You were there for him.
And that will help him more than anything.
