I find this concept so interesting. While the aspect of teenage rebellion being the pushback against the frustration of an innate need for freedom makes sense, what isn’t factored in is that the teens brain development isn’t complete until around 24. So at aged 12, i imagine their decision making skills might not see them make the best choices!
