I tend to agree with what Nancy wrote. Many of those songs were written with intentions that we have distorted and manipulated to make some sense of the issues in the world today.
It’s easy to take any song ever written and find a way to explain the hidden meanings and with the songs that are definitely problematic, many of them are a sign of the times when they were written
