I was already married by the time online dating was a thing but I’ve noticed the shift in the way my single friends feel about it lately. I think online dating has just had too much negative impact and we are all hearing of too many dangerous stories that have happened to people who have met online. Things like the tinder swindler, women who have been abused and murdered, and the hundreds of cases of hopeful people who genuinely want connections only to be used as a booty call service.
