I'm sorry that you had this experience.

When I was a teenager, my parents sent me to a therapist, and all I remember was feeling very uncomfortable when she used my sessions to discuss her history of eating disorders and abuse. I didn't feel like it was a tactic to empathize or make me feel comfortable. I felt like i'd been privy to information I wasn't old enough to understand.

These type of people can do so much more harm than good.
