Probably my biggest gripe with the impact of Lean Startup on the business landscape is the “fake it til you make it” attitude that it has encouraged. I think this has been actively harmful. It encourages potential founders to jump in with both feet, without taking the time to learn the necessary skills or do the right level of research on their potential market. The resulting mental health impact can be substantial.
