Tony, with respect, if this is the case, then I'm quite confused as to why a writer would then submit a story to any publication. Does this mean publications are now obsolete? Publications are where many of these so-called, 'sections' of readers view both boosted and non-boosted articles. The comments made on all these articles, and that is where the community begins and is cherished. This also begs the question: what is the point of the new featured stories within publications? Why would an editor select to feature a writer if the story is only going to be penalised in earnings due to the 'sections' of reader engagement that the story is promoted to? If you could explain any of this, I'm sure many writers would appreciate it.
